Product Description

Chelated Iron for Enhanced Nutrient Uptake

Fertisil Iron Fe-EDTA is a scientifically formulated chelated iron fertilizer designed to improve iron availability in plants. By utilizing EDTA chelation technology, it ensures iron remains soluble and accessible, preventing it from becoming bound in insoluble forms. This is particularly beneficial in alkaline and calcareous soils, where iron deficiency can lead to chlorosis and reduced crop productivity. Fe-EDTA enhances key physiological processes such as chlorophyll synthesis, enzyme activation, and overall metabolic efficiency, leading to healthier, more vigorous plant growth.

Key Benefits & Advantages
  • Promotes Chlorophyll Production: Stimulates chlorophyll biosynthesis, ensuring vibrant green foliage and optimal photosynthesis.
  • Boosts Photosynthesis Efficiency: Enhances the plant’s ability to capture sunlight and convert it into energy, improving overall metabolic function.
  • Activates Key Enzymes: Catalyzes critical biochemical reactions, including respiration, energy production, and protein synthesis.
  • Prevents Leaf Chlorosis: Effectively addresses iron deficiency-induced yellowing of leaves, promoting lush, healthy vegetation.
  • Enhances Root Development: Strengthens root architecture, improving water and nutrient absorption for sustained plant growth.
  • Increases Disease Resistance: Reinforces plant immune responses, helping combat environmental stresses and pathogens.
  • Supports Flower & Fruit Development: Aids in flower retention and fruit set, leading to increased yield and better crop quality.
  • Regulates Plant Metabolism: Facilitates balanced nutrient uptake and utilization, ensuring optimal growth stages and plant health.
  • Improves Nitrogen Utilization: Plays a crucial role in nitrogen metabolism, leading to higher protein synthesis and improved plant performance.
  • Enhances Soil Fertility: Promotes beneficial microbial activity, improving nutrient cycling and overall soil health.

  • Recommended Applications

Ideal Crops: Suitable for all field crops, vegetables, fruit orchards, horticultural plants, flowering plants, and nut crops.

    Application Methods & Dosage:

o Foliar Spray: 0.5-1 gm/Lit of water for quick iron uptake and correction of deficiency symptoms.
  • Soil Application: 500 gm/acre for continuous iron availability and improved soil nutrition.

  • Best Application Stages:
  • Cereals: Early vegetative, flowering, and grain-filling stages for enhanced growth and grain quality.
  • Vegetables: Early vegetative, flowering, and fruiting stages for increased yield and plant health.
  • Pulses & Oilseeds: Early vegetative, flowering, and seed formation stages to improve seed quality and pod filling.
